The end of January was a pivotal moment in my life as a Feminist.
I know that Mom and Dad had a few talks about whether or not I should go downtown and be part of The Women's March on January 21st 2017 but I am SOOO glad they decided to let me be part of that moment in time. Its pretty incredible to take a stand with others who have similar values to try and make progress for the greater good. It's even more amazing when your close knit friends stand along side you and lock hands to walk that journey with you. Im not sure if our march down Market to the Arch grounds changed anything but my hope is that it empowered people to know they weren't alone and that we would continue to work together even when times seem bleak and the work load seems insurmountable.
