Judicious Jingoistic January (2017)

Like my snow globe i made for Magtoddy?!

January 2017 was officially under way and I have to say that we were all nerves in our house.
An impending move, He Who Shall not be named was being inaugurated and just the idea of the holidays being over was putting us into a funk. Thank Cod that we have good friends to keep us sane and some useful ways to pass the days.

First things first! We needed to make sure everyone had their passports to make sure we can flee if need be.

Most importantly "Homework Club" was back in session and we needed to sample all the new hot chocolate options at Khaldi's Coffee with their epic Double chocolate "muffins" ~ that happen to taste like the best chocolate CAKE ever!!

The Next MEGA highlight to my existence thus far was Dad surprising us with Globe Trotters tickets!!!! HOLY cow - I have never laughed so hard in my life! Look at them swing Morty like he is a tony clock hand!!! hahahahah
Mom wasn't invited to our evening of fun so it was a Daddy/Kid date that I will never forget.

After the Harlem Globe Trotters kicked off Basketball season for us, we couldn't wait to partake in some bball trickery of our own. Morty and Theo's team wasn't dunking too many buckets but they were all smiles anyhow.

Position: Center, Small Forward

I LOVE basketball - the first reason is because it reminds me of my family. Nono, Martha and Daddy all played Basketball and have coached so I think its in my blood. Maeve is one tenacious lady so we make a crazy pair on the court and I love that she snot afraid to block absolutely anyone!!

Speaking of awesome Maeve, we are really into White Stripe's Seven Nation army. It took us a few tries and a LOT of giggles to get this snippet but it was worth it!

With so much moving prep work happening we headed back to Cali visit yet another school and work on house stuff.

So off we went - not exactly sure ho we felt about this next chapter but trying to be too worried or worse yet, too serious!!

There were times when we were bored to tears waiting for things to happen.

But it was worth it when I finally met up with Kate!! She makes me  laugh so hard and I know my Mom feels the same way about her Mom too. They always make time for us and that makes our hearts feel happy!

January 24th (my 1/2 Birthday!!) was spent with my good pal Pusheeeeeeeen! and a Susie Cakes cupcake. Sadly Kara's Cupcakes closed in Ghiradelli Square so it was onto my next favorite.
Not too shabby : )

Then it was time to head back to the great state of Missouri. Do I look any older to you?

How about after a haircut and a knitted cactus cactus? Anna at Salon Basia is my favorite hair stylist - ever! She is so sweet, gives me treats, has curly hair like me and totally gets the style I am going for.

9.5 has never looked so good!
