Well, I met a veggie today, fought the good fight, and lost. Mom sat me down today and we had a little bit of a new more solid “solid” food called the sweeten potatoes. Let me tell you this: not a fan! I tried the first bite and yucky poodle! It was nasty! So, when mom, and then dad, and finally Annie all came at me again and again like waves of Japanese Zeros over Midway, I bravely fought them off with pursed lips and a swaying head. Needless to say, none of these sweetened potatoes passed my lips! However, mostly out of guilt, I did toss the parents a bone later in the day by agreeing to have some bottled bananas: not that bad….well, tolerable.
