2016 Holiday Card Fun

In December you know we have one thing on the brain and that is holiday cards. We are finalizing our ideas, getting the appropriate help, clothing, etc. and then suddenly it all comes together. Most years Morty and I are just told what is happening but the 2016 holiday card was really fun because we knew what was going on and had a blast getting it done. Mom thought Morty wouldn't want to play the part but it was shocking how agreeable he was!!

Really, it was one of the fastest holiday card shoots we have ever done and while we were all a bit nervous that some of our friends might not find it too funny, we decided as a group that speaking up and being up front about what was on our minds was better than pretending. Who has time for that?!!

Once Morty and I had our wigs on tight it was easy to act the part. I'm pretty sure you can tell what we were going for just by the titles of our books. During the last election we learned a LOT about our beliefs, our parents beliefs and also our friends & foe's beliefs. It's good to have a diverse community in all ways, whether you agree with your "neighbors" or not - gaining perspective helps everyone.
