Catching up on 2015

AS many of you have pointed out I have been slacking on my Blogging duties.
So, once again I am going to catch everyone up quickly on this last year so I can all stop listening to the winging and moaning (except Mom, she LOVES to hear winging & moaning .... especially from us!)

**First and foremost - I turned 8 in July last year. **
Clearly, it was the saddest birthday I had every experienced, seeing Nown wasn't with us, but it was still great to be one year older. This birthday I was super embarrassed by the Camp in Cape Cod singing to me at lunch. I even slinked under the table to hide! My friend Leah dragged me back up to the the bench. Sigh!

Cousin Time in Cape Cod was pretty awesome.
Summer officially starts when we are all together!

Morty learned to Kayak, Dad took up Stand Up Paddle Boarding (he's slacking in this photo) and Mom crawled onto the beach after Kayaking with Mo. She was completely green and swearing she would never go back out. We were thrilled she didn't actually barf!

Mom completed her first Half Marathon. Apparently she couldn't find one any closer than Vancouver, Canada?!! After all her whining and complaining about how hard the training runs were in the heat, we were glad she was done with that goal! yeesh!

In August Mortapuss was finally out of Toddler-hood and officially an annoying 6 year old.
Is it just me or do brothers get more annoying as they get older?

At the end of August, Morty and I were finally in 2nd Grade and Kindergarten!!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! - Finally.
Morty always asks Daddy if he has won a race and Now Daddy can finally tell him yes!
Daddy won 1st place in his group at The Chicago Triathlon last September. It was pretty exciting for all of us to see him flip that frown upside down.

Morty lost his very first tooth in September. Ms. Skippy Kiefer used her "Magic Hanky" to twist and turn mortys bottom tooth until all the threads broke and POP!

In October- Daddy and Mommy ran a half marathon together for the first time and when I say "together" I mean, they were entered into the same race so they were on the course at the same time... at least for a little while. (Daddy beat mommy of course!)..... wait a minute, I thought Mom was over running the long distance stuff?!

When Halloween rolled around, Grammie came to pay a visit.
I wore at least 3 different costumes (Kitty Cat, witch & Mal from Descendants) Morty was not only a white ninja but a black one too (way to mix it up little buddy!!) Mommy went as an old school Farmer (boooorrinngg)

One of my all time favorite times of  year is Thanksgiving.
Not only did Magboot & Mr Todd come but they go to " Special Friends Day" at school and Gamma comes too. Morty was being a turn (again) so he didnt join the photo but it was so much fun!!
Plus Magbooty & Todd help us make our Holiday card each year during Thanksgiving. LOVE!

To be continued.....
