Halloweenie 2016 Style

If you know me at all, you know I am super serious about my Work - Art Work that is. I love Pinterest and so does Mom. We find all sorts of cool projects on there but rarely do we have the time to complete any of them but once Mom saw the white pumpkins at Whole Foods I planted the seed of an easy project we saw and that was all it took.

Like all good/sad Pinterest projects we didn't really think it through and used the hair dryer to melt the crayons on the pumpkin without thinking twice. What could go wrong??!! Well, it turns out that hair dryers BLOW hot air and when wax gets hot and drippy it too BLOWS all over the place. I thought the whole thing was really cool but Mom says she learned her lesson. Whatev! My pumpkin was WAY cool, right? and that is how I started off my Halloween week that a BANG.

I'm pretty sure that Halloween is my all time favorite school holiday. Everyone talks about their costumes but to see them in person is totally different. My favorite costumes are the really clever ones that you have to think to figure out what they are, like my friend Jacqueline who wore a cheerleading costume with the words "CEILING" pasted on the front of her shirt.... get it? She was a Ceiling Fan!!

I think we did a pretty excellent job this year too. Morty wanted to be something in a  morph suit, which then "morphed" into Mr. Peanut. I wanted to be a Flamingo and I wanted Mom to be something that went along with it... which ended up with her being Alice in Wonderland. Remember when she uses the Flamingos as croquet sticks with the Queen?

Of course another awesome part of Halloween is going to Gammas house before we all go out Trick or Treating with out friends. Morty and Landon were is their normal form while they were supposed to be eating dinner (good luck with that!) and we caught a video of their craziness.

Clearly this level of weird is just genetic. Maybe Im adopted?

The end of the night was super fab - we went Trick or Treating with Frisellies and even their Nano came over. Mom had to hide from their super creepy clown the have in their haunted garage but other than that it was just a perfect night. We raked in hoards of candy and even some full size candy bars!! SCORE!Maeve said her Amy Winehouse costume was the best by far but I think thats in question, I think it was all the good jokes we had up our sleeve this year.

Question: What do you call a witch at the beach?
Answer: A Sandwich

ha!!

Now its time to start planning next years costume. So many options!
See you next year October!
