April Fools of 2016

April was a month of Firsts and moments to remember.
I know! every month growing up seems like something new and grand is happening but I am STILL talking about my adventures from April 2016!

The first part of April Daddy surprised me with a Daddy- Daughter trip to Atlanta, Georgia!!!!!! You might ask yourself why he chose Atlanta of all places? Well, every third grader has to choose a State to study and do a final presentation at the end of the school year. I chose Georgia because the name is so beautiful and I had to choose a place I had never visited.

The King's House
Stone Mountain - Confederate Generals

Daddy stood on top of Stone Mountain

The disgusting but super cool "Pole of Gum" on the top of Stone Mountain

The capital building in Atlanta

Me holding hands with our former president: Jimmy Carter

NAKED  public sculpture we found along the way (ew!)

Ginormous Coca-Cola bottles we saw after our tour at the Coca Cola Factory. Daddy had a Diet Coke and I had a REGULAR Coke. The pineapple Fanta from Africa was the best!! There was something like 122 different flavors from around the world. I wanted to try them all but Dad said NO! (Party Pooper)

After a TON of hard work Mom and I made the presentation board - we even had a real peanut on the board with maps, tickets, the Georgia quarter, handmaid flowers, the state bird and the maps from our trip!!

In my opinion, the icing on the cake for my presentation was the Southern Belle costume. I also had a southern Belle Barbie! I was really nervous about the presentation but it couldn't have gone any better- Mom came to watch and it went pretty quickly and I got an A!! Well, a Check Plus on 3 sections ; )

While Dad and I were away for 36 hours, Morty had all the doggie snuggles to himself and Macho was his furry sibling. Morty also went to a birthday party and got his 70's disco vibe going while playing video games. I know he loved to have Mommy and the pups all to himself but I know he missed me desperately!

School Pick up with Macho in tow

The tree choppers came to take Nono's big Willow Oak down. It was a sad day but the poor tree was super sick : (

This was the first time all the siblings were able to run together. We didn't really "run" together but we were in the same race and no one was left behind!
Theo, Maeve, ME and Meowty (as Mrs. Frisella likes to call him)

Dad being his awesome self

Morty and I loved to trade them first thing in the mornings on his bed.
Abby, Mo & Caleb after their first game : )

Mr. Todd, Magbooty, Mommy & Daddy out for dinner in Santa Monica.

NEXT up is the May rundown. Mom says its the best month of the year but I think she's a bit biast - dont you?
