It was a grand, Pink, flamingo loving, shiny celebration for Nono's 80th birthday. Everyone wore pink in honor of Nono's love of the color and the whole house had a pink glow about it. It's not every day you get to celebrate 80 years of someone's who been around THAT long, I mean that's almost too 100!!
The regular fare of Lamb, homemade chocolate cake with the little cake toppers he's used since he was mortys age and warm bread was enjoyed (no lamb for me - blech!)
Did I mention how pink it was? He even had his birthday flowers of Pink Quince!
It was a great day!
