It's not every day that dad comes to lunch with us and it's even more unusual that he sits at the kids table while the moms lunch alone a table away. It was great for almost everyone involved! Needless to say the kids table was very well behaved and the moms actually got to eat their lunch! = Success!!!
Why the lunching play date? Well Theo and Maeve do swim lessons with us right befor lunch on the weekends and it's a natural progression to dine together. The moms usually think this will appease us and our incessant attempts to beg for further play dates but really they are killing time and trying not to strangle us by keeping us in a pack!
Generally it works to our advantage. Not sure if we just wear them down or not but we have a great time running them tagged in the meantime.
