Boxing Day 2013

Woah!!! What a crazy, rockin Christmas Season! To be honest, my head is still spinning from all the gift giving/getting that I don't really know how to begin and that's just the way we like it, or at least that's how Morty and I like it! Mom and dad seem thoroughly worn out ... Such weaklings!

In our world there are 5 major Christmas events and we look forward to each and every one:

1) Gammas House kicks off the Xmas season. The first gorging sets the tone and everyone is Merry! 

2) Hawker's house is extra special because not only is the company awesome but its our first night of gift giving/getting!! Morty and Landon are usually up to no good and the annual wrestling match ensues by 7pm! Impromptu yoga was part of the pre-present opening ceremony!!

3) Christmas Eve at Nown's house is no joke either. You should see the tree and all the presents - its like a dream!!! This year we changed it up and had Chinese Food.... Well, everyone but Morty and I had Chinese food. Then it was time for he main event - Open, Open, Open!!

4) Christmas morning at home! By this point the excitement is just more than anyone can handle and we really need to take a day off but like real pro's we persevere and despite Morty's terrible attitude that has the whole house on edge and moms sinus infection, the day is pretty fantastic! 

5) The Finale! 

Tyreen always hosts the final dinner & stocking exchange. It's so fun to play at their house, especially after all the new toys are out! By the end of the night, exhaustion starts to set in and it's apparent that a detox (on many levels) is needed ASAP!!

...and then the night went downhill in a hurry after "Bill the killer poodle" tried to eat my new stuffed animal. We called it a night shortly thereafter in fear that I might completely dehydrate from all the crying.
