Fourth of July!

Today we learned a bit more about the ideas behind Independence Day. Sure, most of them went in one ear and out the other... (mostly because I saw someone giving away shiny necklaces) but still I had a profound feeling of appreciation and being thankful, and this time it was more than just being thankful for people throwing candy in my general direction. 

It was a stellar day of loving our freedom with, parades, candy, friends, candy, loved ones, candy, fireworks, candy, swimming, candy, dinner at Nono's and well, some more sugar, its my favorite food group after all!

I even told mom when I went to bed at 9:40pm!!! "This was the best day of my life!"
