One last family outting.....

When I first arrived on scene, I put down my newest bag and baby and quickly took inventory of the situation. You see, it appeared that there was no one in charge and that things were not progressing at a speed that was going to get me fed and to bed anytime soon...so I took over.

First thing I did was I started handing out presents. You can tell from dad's positioning and total lack of attention to what I'm doing, that he is totally useless. So, I continued to run the show.

As dad continued to look clueless and confused, I was forced to continue to step up and hand out more presents to those around me. And for the last time people, I don't care if your name is on it or not, just say thank you and open the damn thing!

Finally, after a lot of hard present distribution, cousin Lelia and I looked for something fun to do.

So, what did we do? Well, we rolled around on the floor and forced dad to smell our feet! HA!

Take that old man!

Phew! After a hard evening of handing our presents and antagonizing my father, it was time to sit down, kick up my feet and have a cookie and an apple....Lord knows I've earned them!

Chooooo Chooooo!

So, while we were visiting for the holidays, dad said that if I was good and didn't scream and yell and he and mom, he had a big surprise for me....ok, I'll play along for now.

Really? REALLY? Sure, I agree to play along, but mittens and a leopard print beret?

Dear God this is demeaning, this had better be the best surprise ever or I'm going to scream like you've never heard!

What is this? I see candy houses and I hear something coming....

Holy Crap! It's a choo-choo! Awesome! I love it...but if you ever make me wear that hat again, I'll kill you where you stand.

More Family Events....

So, Christmas night we headed over to dad's brother's house for some more....PRESENTS!!! Or so I had been lead to believe, but more about that later. First cousin Leila and I started off the evening by playing in her new pizza shop. She served dad some coffee in his little metal mug and I repeatedly walked in and out of the door, that's good times people!

Finally, we sat down to dinner where I was forced to sit by grandpa who lectured me on proper table manners....seriously, are we going to eat soon?

I mean, after I discovered that the space under the tree designed to hold presents for me was empty, there was only one thing that I had left to look forward to...the food! So, what's the deal? Do we eat around here or just talk about it?

Then cousin Leila and aunt Sheshe were nice enough to tell me the secret for getting food...you have to act like you are having a great time! Apparently, all you have to do is smile and someone will bring you food...or so I've been told. Well, being that I'm starving and running out of options, guess I'll have to give it a shot.

Ok....Food me!

Tosser!

Sure, we spend a lot of time in hotels when we travel, especially when the temperature outside is frightful, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun! So, what do I define as fun? Well, dad and I invented a little game we like to call "Mallory Toss" and I am 110% all about it!  You only get to see one toss, but after I recover, he drags me back down to the end of the bed by my paws and we do it all over again, and again, and again...until finally I feel a bit like I want to vomit...then we rest.  Awesome!

Christmas Eve!

So, now that we are into the new year, I think that we need to take some time to reflect back on our time with the family. We started off the events with a Christmas Eve dinner at Grandpa's house...so, the first thing I had to do was find the FOOD! Luckily, I brought my food divining rod and was able to pinpoint the kitchen in no time! Oh, and yes, I did have on a SWEET Puma Christmas tracksuit....nice work mom!

However, once in the kitchen, I saw that cousin Leila had the food supervision fully under control and my belly's needs were in good hands, I was off to see what else needed my expert assistance....

Holy Crap! I've got dibs on anything that has wrapping paper on it....and I also call any dog toys that might happen to be under the tree....Hell, I'll take it all. Dad, back up the car, let's get this stuff moved out...pronto!

Mmmmm....TV.....

So, I love TV. Not just TV though, any kind of media that I can watch....it's great. So, today when I saw dad at his computer I gave him my best pleading eyes....

And, no doubt, it worked like a charm! He agreed to let me sit on his lap so we could watch another episode of Family Guy! I'm very excited for watching the computer with dad. You see, I love that show...I don't get it at all, but I do love the colors and the dogie!

So, here we sit. I get to watch me some Family Guy and dad holds me in one hand and my snacks in the other...what more could I want? TV and Food!

Later in the day, mom and dad introduced me to this Bob fellow. Apparently, he's a Sponge who wears square pants? Again, not really sure I get it, but it sure is engrossing!

I can't pull myself away from this Bob.
Even dad is powerless to move away when faced with Sponge Bob.
Must. Watch. Sponge. Bob. Can't. Talk. Now. Go. Away.

Happy New Year!

So, from what I've been able to gather...today is the start of a new year?  I have no idea what that means.  In fact, as far as I can tell today is a lot like yesterday, but what would I know.
You see, I've gathered that one night people drink to excess and stay up way too late, then BAM, the next day they feel like crap and it's a new year?...or something.
Anyway, for me it is a great new year, because mom and dad finally unpacked my presents and I have a new one I LOOOOOVVVVEEE!  How much do I love it?  Well, there are very few things I'm willing to do while eating.  So, if you see me running and chasing while eating, you know that something awesome must be in the works!  Check out the fun!
