Only Treats please!! - NO tricks!

Mom said something about there being a parade on chestnut so we decided to go out and take a gander at the floats and what not on our way to the Rec center. Now here comes the tough part - choosing a costume!!! What to wear?? well because it was so dreary out i decided to go with the chicken to stay warm and toasty! Then we saddled up and off we went!



First we stopped by my favorite bagel place to get some much needed nourishment!




Once we strolled onto Chestnut or "The Nut" as my mom like to call it. We noticed that there weren't so many floats as there were children - they were everywhere!! Turns out what they meant was a parade of whiny, loud, dirty, small children and to boot - the Rec Center was closed! Being the active females that we are, we found some familiar faces (next door neighbors) and tagged along with them while Becket taught me how to get treats - for FREE!




Then after a looooong walk home, we agreed it was time to kick off our chicken legs, get a snack and hit the hay to gear up for round two in the afternoon. (more to come)
