A Drive to Remember....

Well, we are off to Boston. We scheduled our drive so that I could take a nap in the car and rest so that I'd be good to go when we got to Boston because we had dinner plans with my little touch-feely friend Abe. So, for the first hour or so I slept like a baby and loved it...who cares about driving when you sleep?! However, when I woke up, our bliss changed a bit.  (Also, FYI, I'm so cool, I even sleep reminding you peeps who's number 1.)

Although we don't have any pictures - for obvious reasons - you'll notice that my outfit has changed a bit. You see, about 20 minutes after I woke up....I got the spits, started to sweat, got upset...and then coated everything in vomit. Mind you, this is not fresh food, this was well digested and thick...and smelly! So, we had to pull off the highway and park at the first place we found!

However, in spite of mom and dad's quick maneuvering, we managed to find the only secure building in South Boston - Southey that is - and so we had to bed security to let us in the bathroom so that I could get myself cleaned up a bit....however, I have to tell you, the smell of vomit never goes away...especially when I coat the car, my sleepy-sheepy, my seat, and all my clothes...and we still have 2 full days before we can wash any of it, awesome!

So, anyway, we did the best we could to get cleaned up and dad let me drive because he says that it has always kept him from getting car sick....he's a bit of a vomit-er himself. So, after we got cleaned up and did the best we could to de-vomit ourselves, we headed off for our dinner with Abe...maybe the smell will keep Abe from trying to reach out and touch me!
