We're getting the band back together!

So, we decided to get the family band back together! But, the first thing we had to do was to hold auditions....and of course you need to have judges...so, doggy and I stepped up to the challenge....and away we went.

First, I played a bit just to warm up and show the new kids what I expected from them. In the background of the photo you can see my Aunt Shereen who snapping and singing along and keeping time with my banging....needless to say, she didn't make the cut...sorry.

Of all the people who auditioned for the family band, my cousin Leila did the best job, she was awesome! She was playing the harmonica like a professional! She's totally in the band!

Doggie and I were trilled about her performance and couldn't wait to tell her how much we were looking forward to having her in our band....We were also excited that she would be the one who would be telling her mother that she didn't make the cut, and not us...phew!
