November Was WAY busy!

So we have lived in St. Louis for 6.5 years and our parents have NEVER taken us up into the great Gateway Arch. I know, sounds like a lie, and I right? Truth! Dad kept saying something about it not being all that great, Mom kept saying there wasn't air conditioning in the pods that you cram into and then someone mentioned that the arch sways when it gets windy and that kinda sealed the deal.... until the Beevors came to town. Then, all of sudden my parents became the best tour guides STL had ever seen, tickets were purchased, Dad was even game to go with us and it was on the calendar. Nice!

They were right, it was teeny tiny and the 5 seater, rickety pod that you take to the top of the arch was  frightening. Morty and I went with Dad, Zach and Mr. Beevor. We were scared for our lives but as you can see Mom and the other littler Beevors were just having a grand ole time chatting away.

The top views were pretty amazing but I was ready to head back down the moment I saw all the people in the small room at the top. All my senses were saying DANGER!~ DANGER!~

Sorry dude, Hanging on for ear life will get you no where in the Arch!

By the end of the 30 minute ordeal we were all excited to have our feet back on the ground.
Done & Done.

Having The Beevors here for Thanksgiving was such a magical treat (for us at least) that we cannot wait to do it again. Friends at Thanksgiving is really the cherry on the sunday. They make us laugh, we get to be tourists in our own city and it helps to remind us of all the things we are so thankful for. Plus, the Beevor kids are fun x 4!

We went to The Magic House and showed them all the cool stuff! Mom has been a long time fan of this place (even before she had kids!) so it was fun to see her excited to show them around too.

We were bankers and then we were bank robbers, naturally

Then.... everyone started to lose their mind and get very HANGRY, so we all went to eat crepes. After that the little Beevors needed some nap time so we decided to head over the The History Museum.  They had a Route 66 exhibit going on which we all know and love from the movie Cars.

You wouldn't believe all the memorabilia and old stuff they had saved from soon long ago. There even used to be a hotel called The Martha!

Neither Morty, nor Zack could really understand why someone would carry around change to make phone calls.

We learned a lot that day and of course we have forgotten about 99% of it now, but it was fun that day!

Last fun entry for November was the Turkey Trot.
Mom, Mrs. Frisella & Mrs. Beevor decided to get their buns out of bed bright and early to do the Forest Park Turkey Trot. It was more than chilly that day but they were all smiles anyhow. Weirdos!

Mom said that having two of her closest friends in the whole world together on the same day was the best Thanksgiving treat of all time. (even if she was missing teeth to get ready for Invisalign ... but that's another post you'll have to wait for)

Gobble Gobble!
