October's Highs and Lows, Daddy Update

October is the month when the weather turns chilly, holiday prep really kicks into gear and school is getting into high gear. October 2016 was all that and then some. There is so much to share so Ill get started and it may take a couple posts.

First, lets start with a Daddy Update. The surgery was successful and that makes all the rehab worthwhile. Poor Daddy doesn't exactly fair well when he can't be active but he did such a great job keeping up his spirits this time.

Dad decided to be Frankensteins son for Halloween and he really pulled it off well. Ew!

 Dad is quite the multi-tasker! Making eggs AND Morty-sitting!

We did our best to tell him how much we loved him by leaving his messages on his cast. Even macho had a space to say "get well" woofs!

Then came the fun part - Daddy was requested every 2 weeks and he did his best to choose some really cool patterns. Thank goodness they changed them often because lets be honest, casts stink in more ways than one!
