Play Date

So, while we were visiting family in St. Louis, we had a play date! What does one do on a play date? Well, we ran outside and enjoyed the fresh air,

I got a chance to look at what a big-girl bed looks like. Apparently, it's possible to con one's parents into letting you get in and out of bed at night! Sign me up!

We did some arts and crafts, I'm more crafty than arty really.
And after all the playing and drawing it was time for lunch: PIZZA! I love pizza!
Yeah, I'll take this big piece right here....mom....what's pizza?

Make Way!

Move! Can't you see I'm scooting?

Yep, just got it today and I'm already a master of the scooter!

Pink footy-pajamas, pink scooter, I'm awesome!

Does anyone know how to turn this thing off? I don't want it to take off without me....I'd like to keep it! What? What do you mean it's not coming home with us? We'll talk about this later, but trust me, I'm going to make your life very unhappy if you don't let me keep it.....

Piggy?

Hey there! We got this lighthouse thing, that is apparently made of candy? It doesn't look like candy....but wait....the top comes off....

And if the top of it comes off...I wonder if that means....
Um....you should probably go now. This will not be pretty....but I bet it will taste pretty damn good! You, be gone! I need some privacy.

What is this? Dad has Morty? You know what that means....
It's time for mom and I to feed! Just sitting around waiting for dad to get done, but now it's our turn....make me a plate pronto mommy!
We found a nice little quiet place to enjoy us some Chinese food! I. Love. Chinese. Food!

This is Emily....I told her all about my love of Chinese food, and then I dragged her around the house all night; she was very nice about my demands for attention....I'll show her around any day! You up for another tour next year?

More family dining

Admittedly, I don't fully grasp the significance of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, but from what I can tell, my family seems to celebrate every event by eating until they want to vomit. The only difference seems to be who they eat with!

Anyway, while dad was stuffing his face full of lots of food, mom and I and the ladies talked about fashion, diapers, and poop-blow-outs.
Things were going great! Good conversation, nice people, great noodles, I was having a ball, but then everything went wrong when.....
Zombies!! RUN!!!!!!!!!

Family Photo Time!

Ok, let's take some pictures of the ladies! Um...I don't mean to be rude....but does anyone want to tell Morty something? Or, is there something about Morty you want to share with me?

Finally the little midget is gone! Say CHEESE! Ug...never mind, cheese reminds me that I ate too much....my belly hurts.
What do you mean I can't be in this picture? What picture is complete without me? And why are you touching me?!
Look, I understand I'm not welcome in this picture, but you need to keep your grubby hands to yourself, or I'm going to have to make you!
All in all...it's not a bad picture....but, let's just zoom in on one thing real quick...
I mean, I guess it's not his fault...but Morty is not wearing a two-tone shirt! That's a one color shirt with a HUGE amount of slobber! Ew! Can't we just wrap Kleenex around his head? How about duct tape?

Happy New Year!

Today is the first day of my third year....the world seems to really be celebrating that fact...I'm touched, but let's go back to Christmas and reflect on my presents some more. So, the evening started with some food. I didn't really want to, but they made me eat before the let me open presents. As you can tell I was barely able to stay seated long enough to woof down my special holiday cream cheese sandwich.

Finally it was present time for us big kids....I had to break it to my cousin Landon that he was not going to get any presents. I mean, if you can't open them, I don't think you should get any, right?

Yep, that goes for you too Morty. Not to worry though, anything that you get that's worth keeping, I'll use for you. That's the kind of sister I am, always giving of myself!

Yep, I got some great stuff so far....but you want to see my favorite gift of all?
I know, it matches my outfit awesomely! Sure, it might have been given to mom, but I think it looks better on me....thus, I hereby claim it as property of The Mallory. Anyway, like she needs another purse...kind of like she needs another pair of shoes! Really, I'm doing her a favor.
