Relaxing with family ... ahhh!

So, as you might remember, my mom and I went down to sunny SoCal and I have to say that the weather there ROCKS! I mean who doesn't like to swim in the morning (outside!?!) walk to dinner and enjoy a nice dinner on the patio.... a heaven! I was so relaxed when I was there that I managed to tinkle on my Grammy a few times , luckly she didnt seem to mind - awesome!

Another fantastic part of the trip was hanging out with Auntie Boot, her super nice boyfriend: Michael and their "furry baby Max". For some strange reason they kept on calling him a name Denmark, which I never understood, dont they know we are in California? in the USA? Guess we cant all be intellectually advanced, right?

If I can’t see you…

I can’t be sure if my logic is correct or not, but it has occurred to me, that if I can’t see you then surely you can’t see me, right? Unsure of the scientific reliability of my thesis, I decided to test it while in the kitchen this evening. As usual, when I was done with dinner, I told mom and dad to get me out of my chair and put my ass on the ground…now! So, being good little parents and bending to my every will as they must, they plopped me on the ground. Mind you, this is the same ground that the dogs and cats sleep, walk, and drool/slobber on, and have pooped, peed, vomited on, etc…but that’s a rant for another day. Anyway, so after mom plopped me on the ground I made a beeline and scurried under dad’s chair. As I arrived dad got up and headed for the other side of the room; could he be looking for me? Was I invisible to his prying eyes?! Just to ensure that I was fully covered, I grabbed two of the chair’s legs and slowly scooted it over my head….I thought I had them fooled! However, just when I was getting my hopes up, mom dropped down to my level with her damn surveillance camera and snapped a picture of me in my hiding spot: foiled again! Blasted!

Play Date?

Mom set up a play date with some of my (her!) friends today, so she and I jumped in the car and headed out for the play ground. I can’t say that we’ve ever been to this one before, but it was great. We were hanging out on the grey lump and trying to figure out what the hell to do with it, when out of the corner of my eye who should appear? T-bone! Not sure if you remember T-Bone, a.k.a Tyler, but the last I saw of him was his belly as he crawled over me like I was merely a speed bump. If you think back, it was before I had learned to crawl, and yet he was an expect. Back when we last saw each other months ago we had been talking to each other for a while, when he spotted something of great interested to him over my shoulder (cake it turns out). Anyway, he proceeded to get on all fours, put his head down, and make road kill out of me. So, back to today, as I said, as I was sitting by the grey bump, Tyler came strutting up in his Capri pants with his color popped and leaned against the grey bump, gave me a head nod, and said, “sup?” I was speechless….Tyler has done a lot of growing and motor skill developing in the last few months…apparently the slack-jawed look on my face was not what he was looking for….he waited for about a three count then moseyed off to the next group of ladies….great to see you again too, take care!

My Cellmates…

As we have discussed in the past, mom and dad put together a baby-pin in the basement to hold me and I guess some other undesirables as well…round up the usual suspects kind of a situation if you ask me. Apparently they are under the impression that I like to “play” in the pen. While it’s not all that bad really, I do have a few concerns about my cellmates who are locked up with me in the baby-pin. I don’t mean to sound….well, is prejudice the right word? I'm not sure…ok, so I don’t mean to sound prejudice, but Christ, 4 out of 5 inmates in the baby-pin are from the Elmo family! I mean, what the hell is going on with these things when they are growing up? Kind of a child-star gone wrong thing? Different Strokes meets Sesame Street? My cellmates consist of Tickle-me-Elmo, Chicken-Dance-Elmo, Hokey-Pokey Elmo, and finally Screaming-Elmo Head, and of course then there is me. They are all nice enough guys but…come on, clinically speaking, I would think this would be statistically significant, right? Will someone please look into this for me, I’m currently incarcerated in the basement.

I'm swiming in the swimin' pool!

I love me some water! When mom put in my swimin' suit I knew there was some fun to be had, but I couldn't remember what this monkey suit meant....then I saw it!! WATER!!!! As I've told you, we went down to LA and saw grandma and Aunt Maggie. So, being that we have a pool at our disposal and lots of family who were willing to play, Aunt Maggie took me in the pool with my LA car...I had no idea that I even had a car both in Hawaii and another one in LA, this is dope! So, needless to say, Aunt Maggie and I had a good ol' time swimming in the pool with my new car....awesome! Although its not shown, my LA car has a roof that comes off....with Velcro...which doesn't seem all that save, but its a great way to get me some sun!

WAIT! What's that over there? Oh Oh Oh!!!! WATER!!!!!! Take me in! Take me in!!!
